The Cable Area hosts multiple international competitions annually including the largest cross country ski race in North America: The American Birkebeiner and the most prestigious mountain bike race in the United States: The Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival. We have also hosted International Paralympic Biathlon and Nordic Skiing World Cups and World Championships, Cor Power Sports Series Finale Snowmobile Cross Country Races, US Snowshoe Association National Championships, and Snowmobile Ice Drag Racing.
With our experience in running the highest level of international events, let us go to work for you and your event. We can assist with site selection, volunteer recruitment, local permitting, competition services and all aspects of event coordination. Regardless of the size of your event, the Cable Area will assist you in assuring that your participants leave here with memories that will last a life time.
