The 12th Annual Chippewa Valley Volkswagen Classic will be held on June 18th -19th, 2010 at the Eau Claire County Expo Center. This show will feature approximately 100 vehicles. On Friday night at 7:00 PM there will be a car cruise throughout the area beginning at the Expo grounds for those participating in the event. Saturday morning registration will be held from 9:00 AM to noon, with the show and swap meet from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Awards for the top 25 cars will take place at 2:00 PM.
Spectators are welcome with a minimum $2.00 donation – all proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. This event will include vendors selling VW products. Concessions, contests, door prizes, and kids games will also be available throughout the day.
The estimated economic impact of hosting this event in the Eau Claire area is $40,500.
