Eau Claire –Eau Claire Babe Ruth Inc. is hosting the Wisconsin Babe Ruth 13 year old All-Star Tournament, July 20-24. This tournament will feature 12 teams from each of the seven Wisconsin Babe Ruth Districts. 2011 teams are: Sauk Prairie, DC Everest, Steven’s Point, Appleton, Windsor, Bay Port, Middleton, Green Bay, Janesville, Antigo, Tomah, and Eau Claire. All games will be played at Mt. Simon Park in Eau Claire.

Games will begin at 9:30 AM and end with the last game played at 6:30 PM Wednesday and Thursday. Friday games will begin at 11:00 AM and end with the last game played at 6:00 PM. On Saturday, games will run from noon to 3:00 PM, and Sunday the last game will be at noon. The winning team will qualify to compete in Mattoon, Illinois the following week in the 13U Ohio Valley Regional Tournament.

Full concessions are available at the park. Admission is FREE and bleachers are available, however bringing blankets or chairs is recommended.

The estimated economic impact of hosting this event in the Eau Claire Area is $101,250.
