Devil's River State Recreational Trail Is Ready for Use
Back To News Articles

Tue Aug 19, 2008

The scenic trail will stretch fourteen miles from Rockwood Road to the Village of Demark. Currently only eight miles are developed for public use, which runs from Rockwood Road to Greenstreet Road. The trail can be accessed year round for walking, running, bicycling, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Dogs are allowed on the trail, but should be leashed.

Views from the Trail are extraordinary, especially when crossing over the 38' and 56' steel trestle bridges, which cross the Devils River and a small tributary leading to the river.

The trail is great for avid bird watchers and nature advocates. Many different bird and wildlife species can be seen along the trail.
